Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is an examination conducted by the CISCE. It has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education in accordance with the recommendations of the new education policy 1986(India) through the medium of English.
CISCE offers more balanced syllabus compared to the other board in India. The focus is equally distributed on language, arts and science.
ICSE lays more emphasis on lab work. Internal assessments are vital and practical tests are aggregated with the overall scores.
ICSE includes detailed study of subjects, an edge over English literature and language and is more flexible in nature.
